Our editorial policy

AIPriceHistory is run by a small team that operates the price-collection system, the website and the support inbox. There is no separate editorial department, no analyst team and no roster of named reviewers. Content is published under the AIPriceHistory name unless a page explicitly names the person who reviewed it.

Prices. Our system regularly visits public product pages on Amazon India and Flipkart and saves the selling price, the MRP shown on the page and whether the product is in stock. A product searched for the first time is checked once and then tracked. Most products are checked about once a day, but a check can fail or be skipped, so each product page shows how many times we actually checked and the date of the last check.

Product pages. The numbers, charts, price ratings and “price review” paragraphs on product pages are made automatically from the prices we have saved for that product, using one shared calculation (described on How it works). They are not hands-on product reviews and nobody has tested the product. No rating is shown when the history is short, the price has not moved, or we have not checked it recently. Product details are shown as they appear on the store page.

Shopping guides and blog articles. These are written by the people who run the site. They draw on general knowledge of Indian online sale seasons and on what our price history shows, and they are intended as practical guidance rather than research findings. Where an article states a figure, it is either attributed to a public source or framed as a typical pattern; we do not publish numbers from our own data unless we also say which products, which dates and which method they cover.

Use of automation and AI. We use AI tools to help draft and edit guides and to help write explanations. The price analysis on product pages is done by fixed computer code, not by an AI language model. AI-assisted text is read and edited by the site operators before publication, but we do not claim a separate fact-checking desk or senior-editor sign-off.

Product pages show the date of our most recent price check, never the time the page was loaded. Blog articles show the date they were first published on this site and a separate “updated” date only when the text was materially changed. Dates are not moved forward to make content look fresher.

We aim for accuracy, but mistakes can happen — especially with fast-changing prices and sale information. If you spot an error on our site, please tell us at [email protected]. We review reports promptly, correct verified errors, and update the affected page.

AIPriceHistory is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Amazon or Flipkart. We do participate in their affiliate programs: when you click a product link on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate links do not change the prices or the ratings. Prices are collected automatically and the price ratings use the same calculation for every product, whatever the store or commission. We do not accept payment, free products or other incentives in exchange for coverage.
