Every day, millions of shoppers in India browse products on Amazon and Flipkart, faced with discount labels, limited-time offers, and sale banners. The question is always the same: “Is this actually a good deal?”

We built AIPriceHistory to answer that question with real prices we have seen. By showing the price history, the lowest price we have seen and a price chart for each product we track, we give shoppers the full picture before they buy.

Our goal is simple: make price transparency the default for online shopping in India. When you can see how a price has moved over days, weeks, and months, you can spot genuine deals, avoid inflated discounts, and buy with confidence.

AIPriceHistory's system visits public product pages on Amazon India and Flipkart regularly. Each check saves the selling price, the MRP shown on the page and whether the product was in stock at that moment. When someone searches for a product we have not seen before, we check its page once and start tracking it.

Those saved prices make up a product's price history. Most products are checked about once a day, but a check is not guaranteed: it can fail or be skipped. So every product page shows how many times we actually checked, on how many days, and the date of the last check, instead of assuming we checked every day.

Prices shown on AIPriceHistory are the prices on the store page at the time of our check. The amount you pay at checkout can be different because of coupons, bank offers, exchange values, delivery charges or seller-specific and personalised discounts, none of which we save. Always confirm the final price on the store page before you buy.

AIPriceHistory is an independent website built and operated by a small team. The same people run the price-collection system, the website and the support inbox. We do not have a separate editorial department, a panel of analysts or named reviewers, and we do not test products by hand.

Product pages are built automatically from the prices we have saved; shopping guides on the blog are written by the people who run the site, with AI assistance, and are published under the AIPriceHistory name rather than attributed to individual authors. Where a page carries a named reviewer, that person has reviewed it.
