Why Amazon Prices Change
Prices on Amazon.fr may change during promotions and sale events, when stock changes, or when a different seller becomes the featured offer. Coupons and vouchers can also lower the final amount at checkout for some shoppers without changing the price shown on the page.
AIPriceHistory saves the price shown on the public page each time we check a product. Coupons, bank offers and personalised discounts are not counted as the product's price. The MRP shown is the one on the page at our last check, and we work out any discount badge ourselves from that MRP and the price; the chart compares the actual prices we saw over time. Check Amazon for the current seller, stock and final checkout amount.
Price history vs the discount badge
A big discount badge does not always mean the product is at its lowest price. The badge usually compares the offer with the MRP or some other reference price. Price history compares it with the earlier prices of the same product. That makes it easier to see whether a similar price appeared recently and how far the offer is above the lowest we have seen. Seller details, coupons, delivery terms and the checkout total still matter.
