How the price tracker works

  1. 1

    Find the product

Paste an Amazon.in, amzn.in, flipkart.com or dl.flipkart.com link, or search by product name. If we already track the product, its price history opens at once; if it is new, our first check adds it.

  2. 2

    Pick a target price

Choose the lowest price we have seen, a percentage below today's price, or any amount you like. The page suggests targets from the product's own price history so you are not guessing.

  3. 3

    Confirm your email

We send an OTP to confirm your email. Alerts are free, need no app, and can be paused or removed from My alerts at any time.

  4. 4

    Get the email

We keep checking the price regularly. When a check finds the price at or below your target, you get one email with the price, the date of the check and a link to the product.

Recent price drops

A lowest price tracker, not just a chart

A big discount badge compares the offer with the MRP. The tracker compares it with what the same product actually sold for. Every product page shows:

Lowest price ever seen
The lowest price in all our checks of that exact product, with the date we first saw it and how many times we saw it.
Lowest in 30 / 90 days
Recent lows, so you can judge a sale price against the last few months and not just against an old one-off low.
Monthly price history
The lowest, highest and average price for each month in which we checked. Months with no checks are left out, never guessed.
Today vs lowest
How much more, in rupees and percent, today's price is than the lowest we have seen. That low is also the suggested alert target.

Price tracker FAQ

Is the price tracker free?
Yes. Looking up price history, seeing monthly and lowest prices and setting email alerts are all free. You only need an account to manage your alerts.
Which stores can I track?
Amazon India (amazon.in and amzn.in links) and Flipkart (flipkart.com and dl.flipkart.com links). Prices are saved in Indian rupees from the public product page.
How often is a price checked?
Most products are checked about once a day. A check can fail or be skipped, so every product page tells you how many times we checked and the date of the last check, rather than assuming we checked every day.
What counts as the lowest price?
The lowest selling price we have seen in any check of that exact product. Coupons, bank offers, exchange values and personalised prices are not included, so the final amount at checkout can be lower than the price shown here.
Can an alert miss a price drop?
Yes. We check about once a day, so a price that drops and goes back up between two checks is not seen and no email is sent. The email tells you the date of the check that found the price, so you can confirm the current price on the store.
Does the tracker predict future prices?
No. It shows the prices we have seen and compares today's price with them. Price ratings and the usual price range describe the past; they are not predictions.
